Computational Simulation of Filters Used in the Removal of Heavy Metals Using Rice Husks

The biofiltration technique is of great importance for the removal heavy metals. In present work, a laboratory-scale biofilter was modeled using rice husk as filter material. Wolborska model used to know dimensions necessary function. Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms were performed quantify adsorption process, showing that are ones highest correlation coefficient best represent process Cd (II), Cu (II) Cr (VI).
